Making Inferences

This week in reading we were working on the Three Bears fairytale.  I liked this activity where we had to choose a picture for our fairytale.  Then we had to record all of the things we can see in the picture and the things we can infer using the clues.

Fractions thinkboard

For maths today we had to create a Fractions thinkboard.  This was to show that we had an understanding of what we had been learning in fractions.  I found this activity easy because it was visual and I could see things easy.  I need to work on improper fractions next.

WALT: Use description to describe a character

This is my work about Ivan.  He is a big gorilla, an ape from Africa.  Ivan smashed the corner of his enclosure with a cricket bat he got for a present.  I loved this activity because it is about animals.

Book Week 2018

This week has been book week at Grey Main.  Our class book for our door design was Winnie the Witch.  We won the door competition. I loved creating our door - it was fun! Today we had our book character assembly.  I went As George from "I survived the sinking of the Titanic 1912.
