Napier Floods

The Napier flooding last week was very bad. People's homes were destroyed.  People could not go home because it was that bad.  It caused thousands of dollars of damage.

In The News This Week.

In the news this week Dan Carter came back to play for the Auckland Blues. He is going to play in the Super Rugby Aotearoa competition. He is replacing Steven Perofeta because he got injured. Dan Carter was playing in France then decided to move back to New Zealand to play. He used to play for the Crusaders and his dad is still going to support the Crusaders. Dan Carter plays for Auckland because he lives in Auckland with his family. He is 38 so he won't play rugby for too much longer.Too old for Super Rugby? Ex-All Blacks coach weighs in on Dan ...

I reckon the Auckland Blues are stacked now because they have Beauden Barrett ,Dan Carter and Rico Yowani.

What's In the News This Week?

Last week a pair of Michael Jordan's shoes sold for nearly one million New Zealand dollars.  They were auctioned off and they were signed by him.  He wore them in his rookie year of playing for the Chicago Bulls.  Michael Jordan was so good that he used to be able to dunk from the free throw line!  He retired in 2003.
